Today the Olymics draw to a close. I can honestly say that I watched one or two events this year, and that was only to see if Asher's commerical was going to play. It didn't. If I hadn't seen pictures from the set I would think that he was joking with me.
I remember being excited when I was a kid to watch the Olympics. I remember my sisters and I would go to this frozen over swamp next to our house and try to do the tricks on our super dull skates. (Some of you may remember the swamp from one of our Christmas pictures) None of us ever executed a triple toe loop, but we had fun trying. I don't know what happened to make the Olympics so unexciting for me, maybe becasue I know that I am too old to go outside in my mittens and tutu and attempt a triple anything. I guess it wasn't exciting for anyone else becasue this year's Olympics was one of the least watched in history.
Note: I am going to stop guessing when the commercial will play. When I see the first in the series of three I will send out a blog alert.
